There was an official pommes frittes homepage owned by a guy who runs
a "friture" (small restaurant known in Belgium only where they serve steaks,
mussels, Tartare - ground beef fillet with spices and mayonaise - and Carbonade Flamande
with pommes frittes)at Deinze, a small town in Belgium. The link is ded now, sadly. I can post the original
pommes frittes recipe if anyone is interested.
